Mady has been begging her dad now for the past 3 1/2 years to get her hair cut short with bangs (or tanks, what she called them when she was 3) and dad finally conceded. She loves her new hair cut. Our family friend Traci did an awesome job. She was so excited to go to school the next day and show off her new hairdo. Needless to say some kids had some mean comments on how she looked like a boy. It really burst her bubble, so I helped her with a come back. When the kids told her that she looked like a boy the next day, she laughed and said, "That's crazy, maybe you need to go back to preschool, because even my brother who is only three knows that I look like a girl!" She said that the kids jaws dropped and they looked really embarrassed. That's what you get when your stinkin' cute and no one can argue that fact! Love you Mady Moo!

Well, the kids were watching Nacho Libre about a month ago and I thought I would remind Cade what he was for Halloween when he was 1. Big mistake! I ended up pulling out the costume out of storage and since then it has been a battle nearly every day. He loves wearing his costume inside, outside, to the store or where ever mom will let him. He told me that he likes it because people smile at him. He's been watching the movie so much, he's a little obsessed. The other day he dropped his elbow real hard into a bowl of dry cereal (instead of chips) and also asked me to make some toast for him. I made the toast and he told me to go into the bathroom and comb my hair. Next thing I knew he had put the toast on plates and slid them under the door. I about died laughing. He knows about every line from the movie and is often seen torturing dad with a "neeepple twist".If anybody hasn't seen the movie you are missing out.

Happy 3rd Birthday Cade!
This year we went for a really low key birthday party. What can I say, Mom's tired. Anyways, Cade didn't know any different. He had a blast, especially because the majority of the gifts were spiderman themed. He especially loved his Spiderman cake. He got a new big-wheel and helmet from mom and dad, although he isn't quite sure of the big-wheel. We took it out after

Spring Cleaning (Maybe)
Brice got motivated to clean out the garage and the kids thought they would join him. They were soon distracted by all of the things that had gone "missing" in the move. I think they drug out about the same amount of stuff he put away. Cade had a lot of fun tinkering with and trying on all of the dirt bike stuff, it was hard to convince him to take a bathroom break. By the end of the day, it was quite the production.

Easter Fun
The kids had a great Easter this year. They loved finding the eggs the Easter Bunny hid for them. Mady loved getting all dolled up in her Easter dress, whereas Cade on the other hand told me that "Pink is for gules" (translation, pink is for girls). I told him, except for on Easter. It was lots of fun dressing up Sadie, she looked adorable. After church we headed out to Papa and SueSue's for a huge Easter egg hunt. There were about 100 candy filled eggs. Mady and Cade came home with a ton. The rule at our house is one egg a day. I know I'm a mean mom!

Random Baby!
Who's up for some random pictures? March hasn't been very exicitng, with the weather and all, so I just decided to post some random happenings. Sadie is growing so fast. She has the cutest little smile and giggle. She loves watching her brother and sister play. They always can get the biggest smiles out of her. Cade is passing time away playing with Sadie and sleeping! Mady is loving being in her new neighborhood and getting to go to fun parties and have sleepovers with her friends.
