Happy 3rd Birthday Cade!

This year we went for a really low key birthday party. What can I say, Mom's tired. Anyways, Cade didn't know any different. He had a blast, especially because the majority of the gifts were spiderman themed. He especially loved his Spiderman cake. He got a new big-wheel and helmet from mom and dad, although he isn't quite sure of the big-wheel. We took it out after
his birthday and while trying to pedal up hill, he told me, "This is tewible (terrible)" I think dad needs to loosen the pedals a little. They roll up and down his feet so it's pretty difficult to keep his feet in the right places. Happy birthday Buddy Boy. We love you.

Spring Cleaning (Maybe)

Brice got motivated to clean out the garage and the kids thought they would join him. They were soon distracted by all of the things that had gone "missing" in the move. I think they drug out about the same amount of stuff he put away. Cade had a lot of fun tinkering with and trying on all of the dirt bike stuff, it was hard to convince him to take a bathroom break. By the end of the day, it was quite the production.

Easter Fun

The kids had a great Easter this year. They loved finding the eggs the Easter Bunny hid for them. Mady loved getting all dolled up in her Easter dress, whereas Cade on the other hand told me that "Pink is for gules" (translation, pink is for girls). I told him, except for on Easter. It was lots of fun dressing up Sadie, she looked adorable. After church we headed out to Papa and SueSue's for a huge Easter egg hunt. There were about 100 candy filled eggs. Mady and Cade came home with a ton. The rule at our house is one egg a day. I know I'm a mean mom!

Random Baby!

Who's up for some random pictures? March hasn't been very exicitng, with the weather and all, so I just decided to post some random happenings. Sadie is growing so fast. She has the cutest little smile and giggle. She loves watching her brother and sister play. They always can get the biggest smiles out of her. Cade is passing time away playing with Sadie and sleeping! Mady is loving being in her new neighborhood and getting to go to fun parties and have sleepovers with her friends.

A Special Day

We had Sadie's Baby Blessing on the 8th of February. I was so happy to have most of the family here (we missed you Glen, Leah and Austyn). It was such a wonderful day. I also had so many of my great friends come. The blessing was beautiful and so are all my friends and family. Afterwards, we went to the house and had some yummy food. It had a sad ending though, I had to say good-bye to everyone all at once. I was spoiled for way to long with my mom here, I knew it had to come to an end. We'll see how our quality of life fairs with my dear mom gone. Thanks again everyone, I love you!!!

Sadie's First Photo Shoot

My friend from church wanted to take some pictures of Sadie at her studio for me. She is building her portfolio and offered to do it for free. The pictures turned out so great, and we had a lot of fun too. Sadie was so good and we got a few smiles. What can I say? She's a doll!

Miss Sadie Lynne

Well, she finally arrived, Miss Sadie Lynne Current! She is such a delight and a wonderful baby girl. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 19 3/4" long and was born at 8:06a.m. on January 13th. Everyone was impressed, because she scored a 10 on the apgar test which meant she was the picture of health for a new baby. The c-section went well and I am home recovering with help from my sweet mom (who is the best). She is planning on staying until the baby blessing which is scheduled for the 8th of February. I told her that she slowly needs to let me do more things so I don't go into panic mode when she does have to leave. The kids are adjusting well to the new addition. They love her so much, Cade calls her "MY baby". Mady is just waiting for the day for her to be able to share a room with her. And of course, it wouldn't be my girl without a big flashy bow!
